Sandie's Valentine Cupcakes

T-Minus 5 days and counting until Valentines day and my FIRST day at Culinary School! 

haha... Valentines Day is extra special to me this year for that specific reason. Not only that but I have the best Valentine a girl could ask for: My Jeffy! I can't wait for my annual Valentine's Music Mix that he makes me every year. He could get me diamond earrings or a vacation to Paris  but without that special music mix he makes me every year, Valentine's Day just wouldn't be the same. Supposedly, the mix is going to be pretty "epic" this year! I can't wait!

So, I decided to have a little "Cupcake Sale" at work this year. I posted a little flyer on our Intranet and a got a couple "hits". This is my first Valentine order this year, ordered by Sandie! 

Sandie ordered some classic Red Velvet Cupcakes. They looked so nice and fluffy coming out of the oven that I just had to take a picture. Not to mention they smelled FAB! 

She allowed me to take the reigns on decorating the cupcakes so I made some simple hearts out of fondant and sprinkled a few with some edible glitter. Simple and sweet- just the way Valentines Day should be. :) 

To add extra festiveness I wrapped her cupcake boxes in some pretty coordinating ribbon. Jeffy went to the baking store to buy cupcake boxes for me but they were all out of the boxes that held 1 dozen cupcakes. So I asked him to get me the half dozen ones. I was kinda sad. 

I have a few more orders coming up this weekend. Look forward to xBox and "Bad Girls Club" themes. Oh, not to mention a birthday cake for my little brother who turned 18 today! I'll be making a pretty cool cake for him (if my vision plays out correctly) for our family function this Saturday.
